Polydiallyldimethylammonium Chloride (PolyDADMAC)
Polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride is used in waste-water treatment as a primary organic coagulant.
Description
It reduces the sludge volume by neutralizing electrical charges surrounding small particles in solution and creating larger particles.
It is used for water purification as a coagulant. It is effective in coagulating and flocculating inorganic and organic particles such as silt, clay, algae, bacteria, and viruses.
It is also used in the pulp and paper industry, in the dyeing industry (as a color-fixing agent), coating industry, etc.
